The ENCORE leadership program is designed for members of the Kingsport and surrounding areas that are age 50 and over.  It is founded in the belief that retirees can offer a wealth of knowledge, experience, leadership and vitality to their communities.  The ENCORE Program, through education, provides retirees an opportunity to learn more about our community; it provides opportunities to share their professional experiences, skills and abilities in meaningful ways.

Mission Statement: “To inform participants about the community and the opportunities for volunteer services.”
Vision Statement: “A broad community education program for residents over the age of 50 resulting in more community volunteers.”
